MicronPC was a thriving top-five US computer provider spun off by Micron Technology. Teaming with Allan Charles, director, and father of The Goodwife star Josh Charles, we formed a strategy to attack the small and medium business space by challenging the big guys, namely IBM. A spoof on the slogan, “nobody ever got fired for buying IBM” was the perfect icon to oclast with this series of ads showing IT guys who did get canned for making bad purchase decisions. This multimillion dollar buy ran on World Series, Monday Night Football and various targeted cable buys.
