Most IoT software is focused on the cloud—a massive lake of data that’s tough to navigate. The software my team named and branded is exponentially more fluid. It distills data then cascades it between nodes: sensors, servers, devices. The name Cascadence, visual language, launch site, and other brand elements elegantly convey this. Within a month of launch, www.cascadence.io was the #2 Google search result, second only to the term’s apropos Urban Dictionary definition. We then redesigned the Toumetis website, and launched an in-app campaign serving up in-moment ads to smarthome customers. The results are shown.
